The recent expansion works comprehended the construction of the New Emergency Department and its connections to the area already in use.

t is proposed to interpret the nature of the atrium, between the ground floor and the lower floor, as a gathering and passing by space able to host an exhibition space of paintings offered by the painters of the Academy of Florence.
